Episode 45 featuring the Kimber Bombs

Welcome to episode 45 of The Milo Beasley Show! Well, the Blog version!

This week, we have some very special guests that I've been trying to get on the show for some time. However, schedules haven't worked out, but we finally found some down time, and I was able to get the Kimber Bombs to sit down and have a talk with ol' Milo Beasley.

At the time of the filming, the Kimber Bombs (Kimber Lee and Cherry Bomb) were the Shine Wrestling Tag Team Champions. However, a week later, the Bombs would take Chicago by storm, and walk out with the Shimmer Wrestling Tag Team titles!

Let's just say that being on The Milo Beasley Show gave the Bombs the confidence to go out and win the titles. Yeah, we'll go with that.

So, finally got some downtime with Cherry and Kimber, and we managed to go find some quiet(??) space amidst the craziness that goes on at customs at Slammin' Ladies (Slamminladies.com for all your customs needs).

We kicked out the kids on the swing set and took over! Which... was good for them. However, I kept falling out of the swing I was in. My butt was too big. Sigh...

The kids, however, stuck around... giving us an INTERESTING live audience.

As mentioned in the episode, I first met Cherry Bomb in Japan while attending one of New Japan Pro Wrestling's PPV's. Cherry was over there working for a myriad of women's promotions at the time. I was over there training at the Zero1 dojo with Pepper Parks. A couple years later, Pepper and Cherry got married. And they have developed themselves into a power couple in the Northeast, becoming quite the force at CZW amongst other places.

I first met Kimber Lee when she started working for Shine. She was working Florida's Kimberly... so... Kimberly vs Kimber Lee. I get it.

Over the past year, I have gotten to know Kimber as a good friend. Last January, along with Lexie Fyfe and Rhia O'Reilly, Kimber ran her first marathon at the WDW Marathon weekend. Of course, it nearly killed all three... but that's good, right? And next year, Kimber, Rhia and Lexie have agreed to join me doing the Dopey Challenge (4 races, 48.3 miles. Simple, right?)

And of course, Kimber was involved in a bit of controversy a few months back. But decided to not touch that... but rather, congratulate them on being Shine Wrestling Tag Team Champions! And now, Shimmer Tag Team Champs.

Although, I can say, I was disappointed with the lack of Yo Mama jokes on our top 5. Really, you girls don't know any Yo Mama jokes? I guess they don't teach those in Canada or Washington!
